Ghost Factory

Ghost Factory is now ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS for vol. 3!
The editors will begin reading submissions on July the 1st.

Ghost Factory is a literary magazine that publishes fiction, creative non-fiction (or historical fiction), interviews, essays and poetry. Our purpose is to explore the variety of life in the United States - to tell the stories that make up our past and our present. We especially appreciate stories about countries of origin, ancestry and cultural identity. Ghost Factory is specifically looking for beautifully worded, tightly-crafted writing with a strong emotional base. We want pieces that have an emphasis on storytelling while still maintaining a focus on ethno-cultural topics. Please note: With regards to Poetry, please send 3-4 poems as separate attachments. Include name, telephone number and email address at the top of each page.

We accept simultaneous submissions as long as we are notified. However, we do not accept multiple submissions - please only send one piece at a time. Email stories (up to 5,000 words) as attachments (word document files only). Please include the genre in the subject line; for example, "Creative-Non Fiction Story Submission." Include cover letter as the body of the email. Requirements for manuscript: Name, mailing address, telephone number and email address should be listed on the first page. All pages should be numbered. No title page necessary.
